Let me start out by saying these boxes take a lot of work to be built right but sound awesome if done right. Let me start by saying I only use the best components for these builds. I speakers I decided to use where the Polk DB402 2-Way Coaxial Marine Certified speakers. I've been using these speakers for a long time now and they sound awesome and get loud for there size. These speakers are waterproof and dust proof. This means if you work in a dirty dusty environment you don't have to worry about dirt or dust getting into your speaker and ruining it. I decided to put a 3/8 plastic spacer under these speakers to space then up a bit for better sound. The speakers and spacer are glued to the box then bolted down using m4 stainless steel hardware so you never have to worry about rust or dust getting into the box and it makes for way better sound.
