Cooling elements are used when the measured material's temperature exceeds the permissible limit of the pressure gauge. Air circulation and heat dissipation at the cooling element reduce the measured material's temperature at the pressure gauge, ensuring the temperature limit is maintained and minimizing potential temperature errors. The cooling element can also be used to warm very cold measured materials, provided the ambient temperature is higher than that of the measured material.
