The Flexaust Flexadux T-7W thermoplastic rubber duct hose, used for duct cleaning, dust removal, and bulk material handling applications, is a medium weight black thermoplastic rubber hose, reinforced with a spring steel wire helix. It resists chemicals, moisture, ultraviolet (UV) light, external abrasion, and drag, and is flexible and compressible for easy manipulation. A temperature range of -60 to 275 degrees F makes it suitable for applications such as furnace duct cleaning and chip removal. This thermoplastic rubber duct hose has a wall thickness of 0.025 inch (for a diameter of 2 inches) or 0.030 inch (for diameters of 2.5 inches and larger), and a smooth interior that provides minimal friction and efficient air flow.p> Duct hoses are flexible or rigid tubes that convey gases, liquids, and lightweight bulk materials from one location to another.
