The thin-walled glass fiber tube is characterized by a wall thickness of up to 2mm and a fiber volume content of up to 60% with a smooth surface. These glass fiber tubes are highly flexible and thus versatile in application. These glass fiber profiles are ultra-light with an optimal strength-to-weight ratio. Winding involves a thread wound in the axial direction, while braiding is a plaiting at an angle. The winding and braiding ensure an even stronger construction.
