This cardigan uses "WASHABLE WOOLLENS," an original material developed by Nigel Cabourn after years of research.

Unlike typical washable wool, it's based on woolen wool using thick, short fibers. The key feature is that it allows for home washing while maintaining the tough texture and wind resistance of heavy wool materials, similar to British wool, which was originally difficult to wash.

Based on a 1940s cardigan, it features a simple V-neck design with a triangular patch specifically for WASHABLE WOOLLENS on the sleeves.

The back of the neck features an NC logo handle embroidery on felt.

The details, which retain the nuance of handwork rather than mass-produced printing, give a sense of Nigel Cabourn's craftsmanship.
