After the success of the City Sock silhouette, adidas delivers its proper sequel, the adidas NMD City Sock 2. It features a stylistic approach to Primeknit construction in the form of a wrapped collar. The CS2’s shape is very similar to the original, but a range of modifications have been made to the design: stripes are embroidered into the upper in a circular pattern, EVA plugs cushion the Boost midsole, replacing the traditional NMD midsole bumpers. The colorway is predominantly Collegiate Navy with White accents. Tan leather appears on the heel pull tab. A semi-translucent outsole completes the simple and clean design.
