The RING OPEN gated ring is designed for the semi-permanent connection of equipment. Its round shape ensures optimal functioning in all directions. It has a wide opening that allows installation of ropes with sewn terminations.
- OMNI-DIRECTIONAL LOADING: The circular shape allows the ring to be loaded in any direction without losing strength (23 kN Major & Minor Axis), eliminating the risk of cross-loading.
- SEMI-PERMANENT CONNECTION: Designed for long-term attachment of equipment (lanyards, absorbers, chest harnesses) where frequent opening is not required.
- WIDE OPENING: Features an 11 mm gate opening that easily accommodates ropes with sewn terminations and thick webbing loops.
- SECURE LOCKING: Requires a 3mm hex key (included) to close the gate; tightening to 3 Nm ensures the ring stays securely closed during use.
- COMPACT & LIGHTWEIGHT: Weighs only 70 g with an optimized aluminum body and a plastic spacer to ensure correct screw alignment.
